[…] Today is the International Missing Children’s Day. It is a duty of all to protect children, especially those exposed to a high risk of exploitation, trafficking and deviant behaviour. I hope that civil and religious authorities may shake consciences and raise awareness, in order to prevent indifference to the suffering of lonely children, exploited and taken far from their families and from their social context, children who cannot grow in peace nor look with hope to the future.
