A month has passed since World Day of Migrants and Refugees (WDMR). We remember with joy the celebration in St. Peter’s Square with Pope Francis, his words in favor of migrants, refugees and all the victims of the throwaway culture still resound in our ears. This appeal should not leave us indifferent because, as the theme of the WDMR states, it is not just about migrants but it is also about all of us.
As the Holy Father reminded us, the Lord asks us to practise charity for those who have been thrown away and restore their humanity, together with ours.
To relive the most beautiful moments of the Day together, we are sending you a new video with the words spoken by Pope Francis during the celebration. We would like to remind you that all the material produced by the Migrants and Refugees Section during the communication campaign in preparation for the WDMR is available on the website of the Section and in the specific folder that you can access by clicking on this link.
