That child gave me a life lesson

That child gave me a life lesson

“There was a woman who had lost her baby the day before, she saw him dying.” “The kid was very ill and extremely sad, she didn’t neither smile nor speak. Sha came to me and said ‘Sorry madam, I stink, my clothes are dirty, may I have some new ones?’ and I told her ‘Of course honey, would you like some pants or a dress?’ She looked at me in the eyes and replied: ‘I don’t mind what clothes I will get, the most important thing now is that I’m here with my mother and my uncle’. Often in life is difficult to fully enjoy your age as a child.” Simona, Italian Red Cross Volunteer.

The SEA ANGELS are not heroes from comics, they are real people, generous women and men who have decided to put their lives at stake to save other people. Men and women trained to put their fears aside, weaknesses and personal political ideas, to rescue someone they’ve never met…
