“Migrants and Refugees: Challenges and Opportunities. The Role of the Catholic Church”
What is the role of religious communities in welcoming and integrating migrants, in relation to migration policies? This was the theme of the 2017 edition of the “Exchange on the Religious Dimension of Intercultural Dialogue”, which took place on November 6th and 7th, at the Council of Europe Office, in Strasbourg. The Holy See, represented by Fr. Fabio Baggio c.s., Under-Secretary of the Migrants and Refugees Section (DPIHD), contributed on this matter, from welcoming and integrating Migrants and Refugees, towards more humane and effective migration and asylum policies.
